Ronie se snaží vyrovnat s tím, co se jí stalo a díky obdobě OF má kontrolu nad vším co ukáže i muži, kteří za to víc než rádi zaplatí. No a tady se setkáváme se Simonem. Neznámým mužem, který s Ronie hraje nebezpečnou hru. Když hrozí, že se vše znovu zvrtne, oddechnete si, protože tu je Phoenix, který svoji ženu jen tak nedá!💕

The author is clear about content warnings, which I appreciated, and the story doesn’t shy away from exploring difficult emotions. I had a harder time connecting in the early chapters, as the pacing was a bit slow for me at first. However, as the story unfolded, the characters and overarching plot became more engaging, and I could see the depth and intention behind the narrative. Overall, this isn’t an easy read, but it’s a meaningful one. Readers who enjoy dark romance and psychological tension will likely appreciate it, especially once the story hits its stride.

This book didn’t just capture my heart, it shattered it in the most breathtaking way possible. I was completely consumed, left reeling from the emotional intensity, and utterly desperate to find someone like Simon in the real world. Roni stood out as a force of quiet strength, her trauma not breaking her but forging her into something resilient and undeniably beautiful. And then there’s Phoenix who’s infuriating, magnetic, and impossible to ignore. From the start, he grated on every nerve, his arrogance and the way he treated Roni painting him as nothing short of insufferable. There was a sharp, almost suffocating edge of narcissism to him that made every interaction burn and more than once, I found myself wanting to reach through the pages just to put him in his place.

Holy sh...what did I just read. What a ride with main characters who are really messed up. When you think this could not get any crazier, well it does. This book got me silent and that definitely rarely happens. The plot twist at the end I did not see that coming. When you are going to read this book be sure to check the trigger warnings.

SB Rogue did something genuinely unforgivable with this book and I respect it deeply. I was uncomfortable from page one and completely feral by the end. The obsession, the masks, the tension that never once let up, I kept waiting for it to feel like too much and it never did. It just kept going and so did I, against my better judgment, straight into a wall of emotions I was not prepared for. Highly recommend if you enjoy questioning your own taste in men. Five stars. Seeking help.

Simon Says be a good little slave. Roni has the boring life, she shows up day in and day out. Until Phoenix. That chance stop at the coffee shop changed both of their lives, maybe for the worse. Simon is a puppet master who gets what he wants. Pulling strings and dancing on the edge. Simon wants a doll to play with and Phoenix is the one to retrieve the play thing. Roni has no idea that trusting blindly would place her right in the dollhouse. Will she survive? Will Phoenix be able to keep his cool? This book was def a lot from start to finish. There are some descriptors I personally hated but the story line kept me burning through the pages. Horror, suspense, a mile of trigger warnings, and of course some smut? Sold 🙌🌶🖤 I cant wait for more and more of the Sect world and the queen who may and up on top of it all instead of buried inside 👀

What is this?! OMG!!! This book. Ugh. To say I thoroughly enjoyed this is an understatement and honestly, I don’t even know what that says about me. Please don’t judge. It’s dark. It’s smutty. It’s deliciously unhinged… and I want more. I was completely hooked. The tension, the intensity, the morally gray chaos? Yes, please. I do wish it went just a little darker in some places I was ready to be pushed even further but maybe that’s coming in future books. I’ll be waiting. And Roni? I need her revenge arc. I need it messy. I need it satisfying I want to see her rise and burn it all down while we meet all the other characters along the way. Yes please, Daddy. 👀🔥

This book gave dark and obsessive and a whole new definition to Simon says. I was hooked from the beginning. The age gap, the chasing, it gave what it needed to give. I would have liked a little more depth as far as the plot since I found myself sometimes confused or just wanting things to be explained a bit more. However, this book did not disappoint regardless. The spice was perfect. Simon more than anything was really intriguing to me, I found myself just wanting to know his brain 😅Definitely give this a read.
