This book is dark from start to finish, and it never tries to be anything else. I really liked how committed it was to its tone. It doesn’t water anything down or play it safe, which made the whole reading experience feel immersive. The psychological elements blended really well with the darker themes, and it created an atmosphere that constantly kept me wondering what was coming next.

Another SB Rogue book that sunk its claws in and devoured me. This does have some heavy content so PLEASE read the trigger warnings before you proceed with this book. SB Rogue is an absolute master mind at writing dark, twisted, complex, psychological thrillers - they make you question everything (including yourself). You dont know what's left or what's right; if your coming or going! Everytime I thought I was figuring it out...I wasn't, something would happen to make me second guess! I loved getting lost in this read and the journey you go on with the characters, the ending was magnificently wrapped up to make you sit there and go WTAF just happened! Another AMAZING read by SB Rogue!

4.5/5 🌟 This book was a mindfxck in the best way. I don’t think I was expecting half of the story and events to go the way they went and I feel like this gave a refreshing voice to thriller novels. Needless to say, I enjoyed it. I do think the writing style was a bit edgier than what I’m used to, but all in all, I really think suspense and thriller lovers will enjoy the plot twists and mental puzzles this book puts you through! Thank you SB Rogue for picking me to ARC read 🥰

HOLY WOW!! This book is so good!! A psychological THRILLER. I highly recommend this book to all my dark reader friends. The twists, turns and a raw reality in the characters. Check this book out but look to author notes for content awareness as this is a dark read.

What. The. Actual. F**k. Did i just read and why did i loved it? I mean this.. this was so messed up! I honestly am not sure what to write here… Everything you tought you know, well let me tell you, YOU KNOW NOTHING! That twist in this book, i could just yell out loud on a roof! I am speechless! SPEECHLESS! Not sure if i need somekind of help because i absolutely loved this! All the messed up things! This is dark, and i mean really dark! No wonder that the menu came with warnings.. you just can’t understand what i am trying to say unless you have read this! SB is one of those authors whos books i will always read! Yes, i am feeling just fine normally…

The Bleeding Hour absolutely consumed me. This isn't the kind of book you casually pick up and forget about a few days later. It crawls under your skin, settles into your bones, and refuses to leave. S.B. Rogue has created a haunting, gothic world filled with dangerous magic, buried secrets, betrayal, and characters so beautifully broken that it's impossible to look away. The atmosphere is thick with tension from the very first page, and every revelation only pulls you deeper into the darkness. What impressed me most was how powerfully this story explores trauma. It doesn't simply tell you these characters are damaged—it makes you feel the weight of everything they've endured. The trauma responses, coping mechanisms, self-destructive choices, and emotional scars all felt heartbreakingly authentic. Every reaction made sense, even when it hurt to witness. The writing itself is stunning. At times it's soft and almost poetic, and at others it's sharp, brutal, and emotionally devastating. That contrast perfectly mirrors the instability and vulnerability of the characters, making the entire reading experience feel deeply immersive. And then there's the ending. I genuinely thought I knew where the story was heading, but the way everything came together completely caught me off guard. The Bleeding Hour is well written and a complete mind binder. Somehow SB Rogue not only created these characters, he created them so well they are branded on my soul. This book is a well crafted psychological thriller that is pitch black and unhinged in the best way possible. I absolutely love how everything ended up being wrapped in a black and red package and all the dots were connected leaving a well balanced book without any holes. Please be mindful of the TWs, your mental health matters. SB thank you for this copy and these are my honest opinions.
