About the Book
Thirty years ago, something horrible happened to the love of her life, and she was forced to pay for it. Now, sitting in a confessional rigged to blow if the Father makes one wrong move, only the truth can set her free.
It all began with Jenna and Sam, two cringey young lovers determined to find happiness together, but cursed to be forever kept apart. One was born and raised to serve her country. The other—is a brat.
A vibrant woman in her twenties, Alice is thriving now that she’s making healthy choices. At least until she awakens inside a shipping container on a wooded hillside miles from civilization. Even worse, she finds a troubling note from her captor, Sir, whose RULES she must follow if she is to know any peace.
As the past converges on the present, the woman taking confession must hear the secret that binds their fates. Will Jenna and Sam get their happy ending? Will Alice survive her captivity? Can the Father bring a new devotee to salvation? And who, exactly, is The Good Girl?

View on GoodreadsThank you NetGalley for the arc. This is a dark and compelling book.It starts off strong and you are easily sucked into the story. The tension and angst between Sir and Alice was believable. It kept me guessing as to how their story will unfold. The jumping between timelines gets confusing at first but it gets better as you continue reading it. The different POV’s was welcomed and I needed to know how they all relate to each other. It was a little predictable but I was still surprised by who the priest is. Overall, “The Good Girl” by SB Rogue was enjoyable, I loved the twists and I’m glad to have read it.
View on Goodreads⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 “The Good Girl” by SB Rogue completely wrecked me. This book is dark, emotional, and full of twists that kept me hooked from start to finish. The way everything connected was wild , it all came together perfectly in the end. The writing is amazing. Every chapter pulled me in and made me feel something. The characters were so real and flawed that it felt like I actually knew them. Even the side stories added depth and made the whole thing more powerful. I couldn’t put this down. I stayed up way too late reading because I just had to know what happened next. The story kept me guessing the whole time, and even when I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong. It’s dark, it’s intense, and the romance is everything. The chemistry between the characters was off the charts. The spice fit perfectly with the tone of the story—just the right amount to make your heart race. If you love dark romance with mystery, pain, and passion all mixed together, this book is a must-read. 💫 5/5 stars 🔥 5/5 spice Emotional, addictive, and impossible to forget. SB is legit becoming one of my favorite authors
View on GoodreadsI really enjoyed reading this book. It follows multiple POVs and timelines, jumping back and forth from past to present. I like a good cluster fuck of "who is this and what do they mean to this story?" I just knew we were working towards a common end game. The tension throughout this book was intense. The author really edged the reader, if you will lol. When I thought I knew what was about to happen, I very much did not. While it may take you a minute to get into the flow (very common with multiple POVs - in my opinion), when this story grabs you, it gets you good. Side note: did anyone else kinda grow to despise Jenna? like dude just gtf on with your military career and stop coming back just to derail Sam's life. She's just trying to do hot girl shit. Also, I have a lot of new adjectives in my vocabulary now lol
View on Goodreads✨🖤The Good Girl🖤✨ Author: SB Rogue ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️🌶️🌶️ WOW! Just WOW!!! This book was so good! All the twists and turns had my mouth gaping the whole time. Once you feel like you know what’s going on, BAM! a new thing gets thrown in. The author did a fantastic job keeping you on the edge, never letting you predict what’s coming next. I love the way the characters were written to have love and heartache. The tragedy in this book is overwhelming at times, but overall, this was such a great read! It’s tragic, intense, and emotional, but also such a page-turner. I couldn’t put it down and I’m still thinking about it. Definitely one of those thrillers that stays with you! I will forever be thinking about Sam and Jenna!

View on GoodreadsI went into the book with expectations, and they were all demolished. The author just ran them over with a road roller! Insanely good characters. I was absolutely in love with Sam and Jenna. I hoped for a good ending for them, but alas. Still, mind-blowing. Spice: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Plot: 10000000/5
View on GoodreadsFor those willing to explore the darker edges of love and control. The Good Girl is a dark, erotic thriller. Weaving past and present, it spins a haunting web of secrets, forbidden love, and psychological torment. I rate this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, as the past, present, and multiple POVs were sometimes difficult to navigate (especially if you're listening to the audio). I give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️ for spice. What I loved about the mature scenes in this book is that they were imperative to the plot, and surely, served their purpose. Unsettling, seductive, and thought-provoking, The Good Girl is not for the faint of heart, and will leave you waning in antici-- --pation.
View on GoodreadsMy Rating: 4.5/5 My Thoughts: My mind is blown after reading this book. I knew going into this book that it was a non-HEA, but I was not prepared for the intense twist. My jaw literally dropped and my eyes went wide haha. This book follows multiple POV's and jumps between past and present as we get to know the characters and their history. This story started in the present with a bang and hooked me from the start. Sam and Jenna were young women in love, but their relationship took a turn, and Jenna was sent away. While she always tries to be present with Sam when she can, ultimately, forces beyond their control get in between them. Her and Sir were a bit of a mystery for me at first, but over time, I figured out who they were. I could not put this book down, and while I tend to look forward to HEA books, I thought the ending was fitting for this book, and my mind is still reeling. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a dark psychological thriller.
